OGUN STATE SHINES AS WAEC RELEASES 2023 SSCE RESULTS …as Taidob College student clears all subjects with 9A1s.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Announcing the result in Lagos, WAEC’s Head of Nigeria’s office, Patrick Areghan said out of a total of 1,613,733 candidates that sat for the examination, 1,467,565 candidates representing 91.5% have their results fully processed and released.
Meanwhile, an Ogun State indigene and student of one of Nigeria’s reputable secondary schools, Taidob College, Asero Estate, Abeokuta, Mutiu Oluwaseyi Oloruntola had an outstanding result of Nine (9) A1s, which he recorded in all the subjects he sat for in the 2023 WASSCE.
Mutiu Oloruntola from Abeokuta North Local Government and a science student of the College had A1 in Mathematics, English Language, Data Processing, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Technical Drawing and Civic Education.
In a statement, the Management of Taidob College said though the school records outstanding WASSCE results year-in-year-out, the exceptional performance of Mutiu stands out, describing it as a reflection of moral and academic excellence the College is known for in its 30 years of existence.
